This was our first time in Potsdam and were very surprised by the variety of restaurants and shops. As we really liked the Amalfi restaurant with its quality of food and the very friendly and professional service, we went to eat there on two consecutive evenings. We'll definitely be back because the food is delicious and authentic. Thanks a lot for this.

We didn't have to wait a long time for the food and our drinks. That was great because we had a huge binge of eating that evening. I'm sure I come here with my relatives and can rely on being looked after brilliantly. From my point of view, a meeting here is highly recommended. The armchairs are extremely comfortable and I find the distance between the tables very reasonable. There you don't get the feeling of dining like fish in a can in the evening.

We were with you twice on the weekend (tonight right at the entrance) and it was wonderful every time - Italian hospitality just plain !!!! And the food is just delicious. It's a shame that we live in Hamburg. Thank you, we'll be back. best regards Karin and Toni

Great food! Nice personel ! And super child-friendly, my daughter broke a plate and laughed. They didn't mind modeling clay! I can only recommend!!

An "Italian" like so many others. No special features ... here, too, the guest is greeted with typical Italian phrases. Like "good day / good evening ..." good appetite ... maybe goodbye, in Italian of course. Regarding the food, the pasta, in our case "spagetti with crabs", was actually quite tight. The pizza was normal size at 28cm, the base thin and very crispy. "The greeting from the kitchen" was really pathetic ... just 5 slices of dry baguette without anything, no herbs, let alone olive oil ... a sign of poverty ... Corona: We wrote our address on the same pad on which the waiter takes his order. To what extent and how the "slip of paper" should be kept for 4 weeks ... I don't understand. Conclusion: Nothing special, but you get full and can sit outside in the pedestrian zone.

Attracted by the name of the restaurant, we decided to stop here for pizza. Total disappointment! the tomato was sour and on top was not mozzarella but poor quality cheese. The pizza made by Italians in Prague is of excellent quality!

Very abundant pasta dish, but without taste, passion, love. Italian cuisine is something else. They cook (so to speak) with bad oil and tomatoes (yes!) And the prices are exorbitant. I don't think they're Italian, but what's the point of having the Italian flag in front of your restaurant? The only flavor left is that of deception.

Delicious food, but rather high prices and really not a good service. Maybe we were just unlucky - but we had to get a card ourselves, it took a long time for someone to get our plates again, all other tables were given a small basket with bread before the main course - we didn't, friendliness doesn't seem to be a priority either to be.

My sisters and I the restaurant suitable for all kinds of events irrelevant whether with buddy, acquaintances or clan; ). My husband and I are completely pleasantly surprised. We will definitely come back here, it has never happened to me that a dish came cold on the table. The selection of drinks also left nothing to be desired. Not only the attentive staff was the absolute hit when I visited, but also the good atmosphere.

Small Italian, delicious food in a small ambience. Maybe a table less would be better! Pizza + pasta + 2 milk coffee = 28 € I can recommend it!

Wonderful food and service from small family run authentic italia italian restaurant. We had the Tagliatelli with sausage and Tiramisu. It was wonderful. Attentive service by waiters and reasonable prices.

Wonderful experience at Trattoria Amalfi. They treated us so well! They were having fun at work at it made the experience fun. Food was fantastic! I had a beef filet that was cooked perfectly with the most delicious vegetables. My husband had a pasta and beef dish that was equally delicious. Antipasto Amalfi was an excellent way to start the meal. Highly recommend!

No taste or smell, the waiters are Italian but the food is far from Italian, look elsewhere.

Excellent pizza, fantasticly crunchy and delicious crust and high quality in all aspects. The waiter had a true welcoming Italian attitude, it made the dinner we had with my family absolutely fantastic! Great foods and service overall.

We've stopped at the Trattoria Amalfi for a lunch during normal week. It was a nice surprise to see seasonal menu based on chanterelles. I chose to start with chanterelles cream soup and as recommend by waitress I desired for risotto. The soup was absolutely amazing, I probably haven't had better fungy cream, risotto was unfortunately average and to sticky with improper rice I think.... My boyfriend had a pizza and said it was OK. As usually for Italians we hot some bread which was actually delicious accompanied with great olive oil...Service was as expected for Italians. I can recommend for quick lunch, reasonable price for what you get there, just be aware of cash payment only.

The young waiter is very sympathetic, friendly and attentive. The interior looks very carelessly furnished. The clientele are rather tourists, so here is a check-in atmosphere. The pizzas are delicious and value for money, but the pasta dishes are not recommended and in my opinion overpriced. Unfortunately we had to wait about 1 hour for our dishes.

I’ve been living almost three years in germany and this is the best italian place I’ve tried there. The staff was very kind and the food awesome. Regards from Spain 👋
